Seemingly endless design options
When a stamp is created to replicate the desired material, we use the original material to create it. In doing so, your concrete quite literally takes the form of the material that you are trying to replicate. Using this method, your design options become endless. If you are looking for a wooden finish for a patio or pool deck, we can replicate the exact type of wood! If you are looking for an expensive marble look, we can replicate the exact marble finish! There are no restrictions where stamped concrete is concerned – only your imagination!
Easily maintained and exceptionally durable
Concrete can wear over time, as high foot traffic and extreme weather take their toll on the material. That said, negating the effects of these factors is easy and cost-effective. Simply cleaning your concrete thoroughly will improve its lifespan tenfold and resealing it will see you protected from wear for a few years before maintenance is required again. While maintenance is an efficient way to enhance the lifespan, Carrollton Concrete also applies a specially designed sealant to the concrete once it is installed, which further improves its lifespan.
How we install stamped and decorative concrete
As we have mentioned, the molds that we use to recreate a particular finish is formed from the original material. Once we have accurately assessed and planned for an installation, the area is prepped and sectioned and the concrete poured. Before the concrete dries completely, the stamp, which replicates the desired form is pressed to the top of the wet concrete and the desired look is replicated. Once the form is created, a protective sealant is applied, and the color and texture of the desired material are then completely replicated. If you are applying this to a high foot traffic area or an area that is prone to becoming wet, we offer a slip-resistant coating that will lessen the effects of moisture on the surface.
